Russian main battle tank T-80 UD plastic kit from German specialists Revell. The T-80UD, introduced in about 1985, was a complete upgrade of the basic version of the T-80. The U was added to show its improved status and the D for its newer diesel engine. It also incorporated, the latest version of explosive reactive armour, Contact 5 and in addition the cannon now had the capability to fire a new laser-guided projectile. The T-80UDs diesel engine was less noisy, easier to maintain, and drank less fuel.
