With an iconic classic car you can make your day out into a road trip with a difference. You can choose to drive either the enigmatic Alfa Spider or the attention-grabbing Jensen Interceptor. The Alfa Spider is a sports car that's perfect for a romantic getaway. With a classic 2 litre Alfa Romeo twin fuel injected engine giving you 120bhp, you can cruise all day long in comfort and style. The amazing 1974 Mark 3 Series 4 Jensen Interceptor has a 7.2 litre V8 300bhp engine and was the celebrity car of its day. This gorgeous car demands respect and commands the road, yet it’s still quick and easy to handle. About The Romantic Classic Car Day Driving Experience for Two This experience gives you the opportunity to enjoy the ride and take in the spectacular scenery, taking in the Cotswolds, Malverns, Forest of Dean, Worcestershire, Shropshire or Welsh Borders depending on your chosen touring route. After collecting your chosen car you will be given your touring route notes along with a description of highlights to look out for along the route. You will be provided with recommendations for interesting locations to visit, of course you may just want to see where the road takes you! Enjoy a romantic high quality picnic lunch before jumping back in the car and making your way back to drop off the car back at the storage site by 3.30pm. Included in the price is comprehensive insurance for up to two drivers, breakdown cover, public liability insurance cover and a full tank of petrol. This experience is available Monday - Sunday, throughout the year (subject to availability). You will enjoy six hours of driving. The minimum age is 25 years, maximum 70 years. There are no fitness requirements for this experience. Drivers should have no more than 6 points on their licence and should not have had any major driving convictions. There will be just you and your partner in the car. Unfortunately, you cannot bring spectators to watch.
