A wonderful scale replica of the P-51D Mustang Cripes A Mighty that flew over Germany in 1944. This wonderful scale replica comes courtesy of the Forces Of Valour range, and the level of detail is probably the best we have ever seen when you consider the price. Fully diecast in metal, the model features accurate livery including battle worn detailing on the wings and fuselage. The engine cover is removable to reveal a fine level of detail inside, the landing gear can be folded inside the plane, the rear tail fin is moveable, and it comes with a host of bombs that can be added to the wings. There is also a removable cockpit figure, and separate standing figure that will add to the display. This fine model measures approx 14 inches in width by 12 inches in length, and is an absolute must for any aircraft collector.

P-3 C Orion plastic kit from German specialists Revell. The Lockheed Orion came into existence in 1958 as the successor to the P-2V Neptune. Its main applications were long-range patrol flights over large sea areas and anti-submarine warfare. In addition to extensive electronic equipment, a special feature of the Orion is the long projecting MAD boom on the tail for tracking submerged submarines. Eight torpedoes or depth charges can be carried in a weapons bay in the fuselage. On 13th August 1962 the first P-3A Orions went into service with the US navy. The P-3C is the most numerous variant of the Orion, equipped with four Allison T-56-A-14 turboprops, 4,910 hp each, enabling it to carry out very long patrol flights. The Orion can carry additional torpedoes, mines or Harpoon missiles on 10 external underwing weapons stations. In addition to the US navy numerous European countries use the Orion.
