This course has been designed to prepare you for life on the road and in the great outdoors!

What happens on the day

The highly qualified and extremely experienced instructors will guide you through each phase of the course with explanations and demonstrations followed by practical sessions. On arrival at the site there will be tea or coffee available whilst you listen to your welcome brief and get introduced to your instructors. Then you’ll be moved to the wood and lake area where the overall group will break down into smaller sections and rotate around the various course elements. You’ll then have time for some lunch which will consist of ‘boil in the bag’ travel rations and for the more ‘brave’, a sample of wild food! Your day will continue with more course activities and will finish off with a presentation of certificates and a question and answer session with the instructors.

Need to know

Minimum age: 16 (under 18’s need parental consent)
There are no height or weight restrictions.
If you have any disability or illness that may prevent you from taking part in the experience you must discuss this with the centre before booking. Please state on booking if you have any special dietary needs.
The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue.
