Throwing yourself out of a plane at 10,000 feet might be considered utter madness. But if close friends start wondering aloud about your sanity (or the contents of your will), you can reassure them that you'll be attached (literally) to an expert instructor and that, frankly, you're in for an experience so exhilarating that you'll probably never stop talking about it. It begins with around an hour of instruction on skydiving and landing techniques, before you go up in the plane. You'll be securely harnessed to your instructor, who will help you jump from the plane (or at least help you fall with style). You'll get about 30 seconds of freefall, which is so completely incredible there's no point in us trying to describe it. Then your instructor will open the parachute and control your descent while you admire the view and try to come to terms with the adrenaline rush. Mind blowing.

It has a 4.3 litre V8 engine producing 483bhp, combined with astonishing road-holding and manoeuvrability. You'll kick off with a briefing, then your instructor will drive you for three laps in a Mazda 3 MPS to familiarise you with the driving lines of the circuit. Next you'll swap over to the driving seat for four laps in a Porsche Cayman. Then at last you'll slip behind the wheel of the all-aluminium F430 for four mind-blowing laps. Be warned, this car is capable of 0-60 mph in under four seconds and has a top speed of almost 200mph; it's not for the faint-hearted. You'll finish driving five laps in a Formula Renault single-seater - sitting two inches off the ground, with lightning-quick steering and braking, this little dynamo of a car gives a totally different ride to the Ferrari.

Have you ever looked up to see a hot air balloon drifting silently overhead? With this experience it'll be you in the basket of the balloon, looking down. First, with your feet still firmly on the ground, you'll meet your pilot and get a flight safety briefing, before helping to prepare and inflate the balloon. Then you'll climb into the basket ready for launching. You'll fly at heights of up to 5,000 feet, enjoying beautiful views of the countryside below, and the restful peace and quiet (except for when the propane burners are going, that is). Because the balloon moves with the wind, you'll feel no wind at all, just sheer enjoyment. After landing you can help the crew pack the balloon away, before a celebratory glass of champagne (or a soft drink) and being driven back to the launch site (who knows where you'll land? - you can't steer balloons!). Once you've driven a Ferrari, no other car comes close. Experience the phenomenal acceleration, braking and handling of Maranello's breathtaking beauties. You'll kick off with a briefing and then your instructor will drive you on some training laps in a hot hatch so that you can learn the racing lines and see circuit driving techniques in action. What you do next depends on the venue: At Donington Park or Three Sisters Circuit you drive seven miles in a Ferrari 360 followed by eight miles in a hot hatch and finish with eight miles in a single-seater racing car (23 miles in total). At Prestwold Hall you drive four laps each in a Ferrari 550 and F360 Spider (16.2 miles). At Thruxton you drive three laps in a Porsche Cayman, four laps in a Ferrari 355 plus five laps in a single-seater (28.8 miles). And at Rockingham you'll drive an F360 for six miles on track and then a single-seater for another 25 miles. Finish with a high-speed passenger ride at some venues.
