The Venetian cutaway offers access to the upper frets while adding beauty. The Jumbo/auditorium-sized LJX6C electro acoustic guitar has an even-grained solid Engelmann spruce top rich dark laminated rosewood back and sides 3-ply ebony fingerboard and non-scalloped X-bracing design delivering tone that is thick and well focused. The preamp is Yamaha s monaural two-way System45 type. Two-way because there is a piezo pickup under the bridge and a condenser microphone inside the body mounted on a gooseneck so you can reach into the sound-hole to adjust its angle. A rubber sound-hole cover is provided to prevent feedback when you employ the condenser at full gain. The preamp includes controls for volume microphone level bass mid and treble with a sliding mid-band control (80Hz to 10kHz). A phase switch for the microphone is also provided and a small LED acts as the battery power indicator.
